SCOUTING FOR FOOD

We will be going door to door to pass out fliers on March 11th and then collecting the food and taking it to the Kent food bank on March 18^th. Specific times for meeting have not been determined yet as we are looking for a helpful parent to coordinate this event.

Please plan to come and help build up the food bank. This is a great service projects for the scouts to participate in.

PACK PLANNING MEETING

The Pack Planning Meeting will be held at 7:00pm in Pine Tree’s GTR. Come with your ideas, or to get information about the upcoming pack meeting and any current events. This is not only for den leaders but parents as well. Please come!!

ROUNDTABLE

This is a free, valuable resource for ideas, crafts, & info. for Cub Scout den meetings and pack meetings. The Green River District hosts the meetings at the LDS Church, 24419 94^th S., Kent. Every 2^nd Thursday each month at 7pm.

THE GREEN PACK

Pack 474 members have been bringing their own cups, plates, and napkins to regular pack meetings to reduce, reuse and recycle! Please bring your plates, cups, and utensils to next months pack meeting.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES!!!

We are in desperate need of some parents who want to help with some leadership positions in our pack. There are many levels of commitment to choose from. We have jobs that are just one project a year and others that involve a small amount of work each month. Our pack is run by volunteers and with out them the scouting experience that we are able to provide for our boys isn’t as stellar as it could be.

Scouting for Food is a great way to start volunteering in our pack if you are looking to help. We need someone to coordinate this event that lets our pack support our immediate community.
