Michelle McCain                    Steve Letter                          James Shackleford

Cubmaster Dave greeted us all and thanked us for coming.

James Shackleford did some investigating and found that if we get any large monetary donations we should be able to give a tax deduction by having the donation made out to St. James and they in turn would give the donation back to us.

TREASURERS REPORT:  A correction was made to last month’s newsletter that read our income for BSA dues and registration was $413.60, the corrected amount is 1413.60.  The pack made $500.00 from popcorn sales and $80.00 from the Red Robin fundraiser night.

On the topic of the Pinewood Derby, it was decided that we will give out trophies for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place winners in the races, medals for the category winners and ribbons for the den awards.  We need every one who is going to race in the unlimited category to sign up as soon as possible.  Ed also needs a few more judges.  Julie is still doing the drivers licenses and she needs photos of scouts not in the Pine Tree and Millennium yearbook for the ’04-’05 school year.  Please bring your Pringles cans to the derby.  Den leaders need to have a head count and $ for those attending the B&G for Sheri at the derby.

Pizza orders are due to Meri Klasen on January 20th.

We spoke on the subject of T-shirts again and are going to pre order them when we do get them.

The Blue and Gold Banquet is Feb 18th at the Kent Senior Center.  All of the scouts will be in the flag ceremony.  The Webelos II den will be doing the skit.

This Thursday is the B&G Roundtable.

The Tiger den will be doing the flag ceremony at the picnic this summer.

February 17 the scouts will do the flag raising ceremony at Pine Tree and possibly Millennium.

Cubmaster Dave wrapped the meeting up and said Goodbye.
