Be prepared for an exciting pack meeting in the month of April. Everyone should have fun creating their regatta and even more fun racing them on April 21, 7pm at Millennium. Parents have your lungs ready to cheer and scouts have yours ready to blow!! Richard Ernst is our Regatta captain!!
The Pack Planning Meeting will be held at 7:00pm in Pine Tree’s GTR. Come with your ideas, or to get information about the upcoming pack meeting and any current events. This is not only for den leaders but parents as well. Please come!!
This is a free, valuable resource for ideas, crafts, & info. for Cub Scout den meetings and pack meetings. The Green River District hosts the meetings at the LDS Church, 24419 94th S., Kent. Every 2nd Thursday each month at 7pm.
Pack 474
members have been bringing their own cups, plates, and napkins to regular pack meetings to reduce, reuse
and recycle! Please bring your plates,
cups, and utensils to next months pack meeting.
We will be cleaning up our adopted park,
Morrill Meadows, on April 29. It is
located on 248th St, ½ block East of 104th Ave,
Kent. Meet at 10am. We will be raking leaves, picking up litter,
sweeping and wiping tables. Bring
gloves, brooms, rakes and dress for the weather. Jeff Hendricks is our coordinator.
We have come to the point in our scouting year where we’re seeking new volunteers to take over many positions, big and small. One of those positions is a shadower for the Assistant Cubmaster. That person would then become Assistant CM when the Webelos II den crosses over next year. Another position needed to be filled for next year is Secretary.
It is so much more fun to
do one of these jobs when there is someone around to train and give support. Please volunteer early so training periods
can be extablished.
There are many more fun projects and positions that are opening up next year. Come and get full list from Laura Zayic and reserve your volunteer spot. It’s so fulfilling to get to help with such a fantastic organization that I know these positions will be filled quickly.
If you go to www.pack474.com you will see our totally awesome website, maybe your picture as well! It’s a great place for an online Newsletter, Year Calendar, Events Update, etc. Please send any content you may have to Jeff Hendricks at jeff.hendricks@Oberon-Media.com and be sure to visit our website soon.
