Cubmaster James opened the meeting.
Treasurer,
Patricia Sells reported that we have $800 in the bank account for the remainder
of the year. Patricia spoke about the
decision that needs to be made concerning the status of Pack 474. If we want to gain 503c status there will
just be much, much more paperwork in general.
All present voted to keep Pack 474 with the tax status that it now has.
Patricia
let us know that from the position of Treasurer she recommends that our pack
really try to focus on the popcorn fundraiser.
Christmas tree recycling is a lucrative fundraiser for our pack as well. James is going to check with council and see
if our Christmas tree pick up areas can be expanded.
The
idea was brought up that we should look into doing more fundraiser nights with
local restaurants (Red Robin, Chuck E Cheese) to help supplement our bank
account.
Cubmaster
Dave is proposing the crossover picnic to be held on June 17th which
is the Saturday of Fathers Day weekend.
An informal “vote” will be held at the Pack meeting to see if a majority
of the families will be able to attend.
Scouting
for food will be chaired by Miriam Pettit.
Thank you!
The
pack meeting on April 21 will be at Millennium and is our annual Raingutter
Regatta.
Patricia
reported on her search for reasonably priced t-shirts for the boys. At West Coast Awards shirts are abt. $8
each. To personalize with a name is
another $9. It would take about 2 weeks
to get the shirts. This information
will be shared with all parents at the pack meeting and pre-orders will be
taken.
James
closed the meeting.
