Professional was elected at the ninth position in the NBA Draft 1993 by the Denver Nuggets, the team that played for two seasons, spending the first lot of time on the bench, in a year in which his team became famous to be the first in history that eighth and final qualifying place for the playoffs, defeated seeded No. 1, Seattle Supersonics. In his second year he played more minutes, partly because of continuing injuries holder LaPhonso Ellis. The next year was traded to the Los Angeles Clippers along with rights to Brent Barry in exchange for Antonio McDyess and Randy Woods. He played four seasons in California, the first three of them as a starter and with good numbers, deflating a bit in the fourth. Tab in 1999-00 Phoenix Suns, winning this year’s Sixth Man award for the NBA after averaging 13.8 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game off the bench.He was traded to Boston Celtics midway through the 2001-02 season, next year to sign free agent by the New Jersey Nets. After two years on the East Coast, he played his senior year of college in the New Orleans Hornets and Philadelphia 76ers. After 12 years as a pro, he averaged 10.9 points and 4.5 rebounds per game.
