The National Index of Prices to Consumidor Amplo (IPCA) is refined monthly for the IBGE in the regions metropolitans of Belm, $fortaleza, Recife, Salvador, Belo Horizonte, Rio De Janeiro, So Paulo, Curitiba and Porto Alegre, Brasilia and city of Goinia, considering the families with understood monthly incomes between 1 (hum) and 40 (forty) wage-minimums, any that are the source of incomes, and residents in the urban areas of the regions. This indexador is used for accompaniment of the inflation in the country and is the method of remuneration of some headings of public or private debt. .
