Product manager Product manager or product manager as part of the marketing department of a company, is the head of a service, product or product range. Their involvement lasts from conception until its demise. Manage the product throughout its life cycle at any time by defining the business and marketing strategies to follow. Also ensure the maximization of the benefits produced by it in its re-release stages of decline or the implementation of other strategies to prolong their existence. The creation of a new product or product range goes from the conclusions reached in the marketing plan. The same has been taken to detect the existence of a need or desire to fulfill by a consumer group or market segment large enough to offset the effort of its creation and release.The product manager is responsible for defining the marketing mix with which to enter the market, including product, price, promotion and distribution or plaza. This mix should be attractive and differentiated for the target segment to cause a desire to purchase quickly and efficiently.
