Ocana (Norte de Santander) Colombian municipality located in the department of Norte de Santander, in north-west and the Cordillera Oriental, a branch of the Andes, particularly at coordinates 8 14 ’15 N 73 2′ 26 O’s a major focus of development and tourism department. Oca a is only 10 km from Rio de Oro Cesar Aguachica 45 kilometers from the backbone of the Caribbean. The province of Oca a has the Unique Natural Area The Estoraques located one (1) kilometer from La Playa de Belen, “a Cultural and National Monument and 27 kilometers from the town of Ocana. Population is constituted as a second population of the department after Cucuta with 220,058 inhabitants. Its territorial extension is 460 km , representing 2.2 of the department. Its maximum height of 1,202 m and a minimum of 761 meters.
